Track Before You Shoot

Get to know the routes your targets take if you are shooting in the same location for multiple days. It may take a week or two to familiarize yourself with the favorite perches of a barn owl, or the most preferred tangles of wood for beavers, but the return will be invaluable. Laying in wait for a perfect shot only works if you know what to expect.
